NCC Confiscates Pirated Literary Works Worth N400, 000

Operatives of the Nigerian Copyright Commission, NCC, have confiscated pirated literary works belonging to different publishing outfits from some outlets along Baale Street in Ajegunle, Lagos state during an enforcement activity which took place on September 12, 2014.

A report from the team leader Mr. M.D.A Ojo stated that the anti-piracy raid was carried out following a comprehensive surveillance report and was backed up by men of the Nigerian Police.

According to the Deputy Director, Enforcement, NCC Lagos office, Mr. Ojo, books seized during the raid include; “How You can be led by the spirit” by Legacy Publishers; Still doing the impossible” by Destiny Image Publishers; God’s Generals, Why they succeeded  and Why they failed” by Robert Liardon, published by Albury Publishing & Co; “The Roaring Reformer” by Evangel Publishers & Co.

Other suspected pirated titles impounded during the raid are “Mysterious Secrets of the Dark Kingdom” by J.P. Timmone, published by CCI Publishing Company; “What got you here won’t get you there” by Marshal Goldsmith published by Hyperion Publishers and “How they started Global Brands by David Lester, published by Beulahland Publishes.
